i can't get my server to run on port 27960..

i have this in my startup alias: "C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ET.exe" +set fs_game etpro +set net_port 27960 +set com_hunkmegs 96 +set com_zoneMegs 32 +set dedicated 2 +set sv_punkbuster 1 +exec server.cfg

but still, when i look f.i. with The All seeing Eye my server has port 10035?

server.cfg has its port setting commented out

Code: Alles auswählen

"D:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ET.exe" +set fs_game etpro +set com_hunkmegs 96 +set com_zoneMegs 32 +set dedicated 2 +set sv_punkbuster 1 +exec server.cfg

server.cfg
set dedicated "2" // 1: dedicated server for lan 2: dedicated server for internet
// set net_ip "195.241.xxx.xxx" // set to override the default IP ET uses
// set net_port "27960" // set to override the default port ET uses
everything is default
and it appears with 10035 as port in 'the all seeing eye'
strange thing is locally it worx fine, LAN shows on port 27960, not 10035, WAN is 10035

win2000 on P4- 1500/512 behind speedtouch adsl router
Udp port 27960 is forwarded to my lan ip

The server send a heartbeat to the masterserver from id-software over the udp-port 27960. But your host has an IP from the private range 192.168.x.x and the paket goes to your gateway/router. The router change the internal IP to his external IP and send the paket to the masterserver. But most router change den source-port to and thats the problem. The masterserver receive the heartbeat-paket and registered your server to the IP and source-port that was writen in the paket. I dont know if you can configure your router to not change the port, sorry

You can search in the config of your router to turn portchange off but i thing thin option isnt configurable.
Can you tell me the exact model from your speedtouch adsl router?
