Wolfenstein City - Community

Hi,
ich nutze Sarge als Linux/GNU Distri und habe mir ET runtergeladen (et-linux-2.56-2.x86.run).
Wenn ich das Setup ausführe, dann hängt sich der Konquerer auf???

Weis jemand einen Rat???

als root über die konsole das setup ausführen mit:

"./home/user/et-linux-2.56.......run"

dann sollte es klappen,

um zu spielen, drauf achten das opengl bzw 3d beschleunigung unterstütz wird zu erfahren mit:

"./glxinfo"

sollten da mesa gl treiber stehen grafikkarten treiber updaten bzw richtig installiern.

Hmmmm wenn ich mit root versuche per ./ zu installieren tut der so als hätte ich keine berechtigung??? Wenn ich dann su - eingebe um (was eigentlich schwachsinn ist) mir die root-Rechte zu geben. Sagt er: permisson denied.
wenn ich es per sh ausführe (...)startet der installer. Dafür muss ich aber dann den XServer killen.

Wirklich seltsam!!!

also eigentlich macht man es so wie tspoon beschriebn hat
konsole auf
su
pw
in das verzeichnis wo die setup is
sh et......
fertig

evtl noch mit die executiverechte setzen
